Getting Ready for Sauerkraut Festival this Weekend

Waynesville is one busy little town! We're getting ready for the 40th Sauerkraut Festival this weekend (Oct. 10-11). This is the most fantastic festival! Hats off to the folks who plan this event! Tiny little Waynesville Ohio will be filled with over 350,000 visitors this weekend! About 500 tents will fill our streets with over 300 of them filled with crafters and the rest with non-profit food vendors. What a great weekend it will be! All the shop keepers have been filling their shelves in anticipation so stop by the shops as well as the vendor booths - great buys are waiting for you!

Waynesville High School Homecoming Parade & Tailgate Party

Waynesbville's homecoming game is Friday night but the fun starts tonight, Thursday, Oct. 1st. Come down to Waynesville's Business District where the merchants are hosting a tailgate party before the parade. Participating shops will display a sign to indicate that a portion of the sales from 5-7pm will be donated to the Waynesville Boosters! The Homecoming Parade will be at 7:30 pm! Don't miss the fun! Red Barn General Store will have Tailgating snacks and will donate 10% of all sales between 5-7pm to the Boosters! We also have a table where you can design your own Spartan Bell to ring! Come on down - we're waiting for ya!

Second Sunday Stroll - Aug. 8th

The next event in Waynesville is Second Sunday Stroll art event. Come stroll the town from noon till 5pm on Sunday afternoon and watch the artists 'do their thing'! Second Sunday Stroll - May 10th

What a great way to spend Mother's Day! Bring Mom to one of Waynesville's great restaurants for lunch and then stroll around town checking out the artists who are demonstrating their talent and selling their art along the streets of Waynesville's Historic Business District. Second Sunday Stroll will be held every month - May through September on the second Sunday of the month from noon till 5pm. See ya there!

2009 Calendar of Events

Waynesville is gearing up for a brand new year of events.

We think you'll enjoy them all - We are keeping the most successful ones of the past and adding some new features!

Here are things that will happen in May:
Second Sunday Stroll will be held on May 10th from noon till 5pm - Great way to spend Mother's Day. Bring Mom to one of Waynesville's wonderful restaurants and then treat her to a day of shopping and browsing the art event!

Spring Antique Show - May 24th! This year the antique show will again feature visiting antique vendors setting up on Main St. Two new features this year will be a live auction at 1pm and an appraiser who can tell you what your antique piece is worth. Don't miss your chance to bring an item or two (limit two per person)!
